I hear Ironstock's a comin'
Comin' up real soon
Well I ain't had so much fun
Since I was there last June
Well I'm goin' down to Ironstock
Gonna meet my friends
Down in southern Indiana
And we'll play trick or treat again

Since I was just a young boy
I've loved Halloween
Puttin' on my costume
Over my shirt and jeans
Well I collected all the candy
That I could carry home
And after my first Ironstock
I see that I was not alone

Well I pulled into the fairgrounds
And little did I know
That there were other freaks like me
Had no other place to go
So glad that I found Ironstock
'Cause that's the place for me
It was full of all these haunters
Far as the eye could see

Now if I were a rich man
I'd buy some fancy props
But I guess that in the meantime
I'll just try to learn a lot
From all those folks at Ironstock
They really know their stuff
And they're always glad to share it
So for this poor boy that's enough
